This half day coaching forms part of GXO Change’s “Expert” Series of coaching programs. “Directing Projects” is aimed at executives who are appointed, or about to be appointed, as members of a Project Board.

The coaching program goes directly to the heart of what it means to be a project board member and the requirements of corporate governance specifically relating to project activities. Executives will gain an insight into the unique nature of projects and an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of others who are managing and delivering the project on their behalf. The coaching program explores what decisions need to be made by the project board, at what time, and how to exercise executive control without being dragged into the day-to-day technical management of the project. The coaching program also addresses what mechanisms can be used to keep project board members adequately informed and implement ways to give them confidence that things are being done as they should be.

Facilitation of this program is highly interactive and conducted with the strictest confidentially. Executives are encouraged to discuss their own project experiences and any unique circumstances, with a view of confirming the suitability of existing or future-planned project arrangements.
